About me
My name is Rynaldo and I live in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa with my wife and three kids.
I work at Automattic as a support engineer — we’re the people behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce.com, Jetpack, Akismet, and many other cool products that help make the web (and the world), a better place.
Currently, my focus is WooCommerce (the WordPress-driven eCommerce platform), and the myriad of extensions that add abilities to, and extend the WC core
In my spare time, I build free open-source WP/WC plugins — you can view some of them on my WordPress.org and Github profile.
I am also a WC v3 core contributor — one of my bigger contributions is the status tool for clearing orphaned variations that made it to v3 (major) (https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/commit/5814dc3a97193dc9c23d7c53b68db7731751d5bb)
